Q: Does Moon Secure run on windows 98

A: Moon secure only runs on windows that supports windows nt services, there is third part software that is out there that supports windows nt services on 98 but this is not supported.

Q: Is this software safe to use on its own?

A: Moon secure has a well written on access virus scanner as well as many other features which means it is able to protect any machine with out the need for any other antivirus, actually we would advise not to use any other as this can sometimes cause conflicts, or stop your machine running correctly.

Q: Is this software affiliated with Microsoft?

A: This software is not affiliated with Microsoft.

Q: What system specs do I need to run it?

A: Moon secure should not use much more than 25MB of ram so any modern machine should be able to run it.

Q: I would like to exclude areas from being scanned.

A: This is something which has not been implemented yet as we believe it could potentially cause problems if a virus uses this to hide somewhere and not be scanned.

Q: Do you provide support for this?

A: Currently this is a community supported project, however this will be revisited in the future.

Q: What language is this coded in?

A: Moon secure is coded in Delphi.

Q: Is this program affiliated with or a removal tool for the "Full Moon" Virus?

A: Moonav is not a removal tool and has no links to the virus
